Timbre@ The SubstationWe checked out this cool pub at Armenien street y'day. (near Fort Canning Park) It's call Timbre@ The Substation. My friends and i love the open air embience. They have 'live' band which starts at 9.45pm daily. Drinks and food was superb! The crowd are young, mostly ppl in their late 20s-early 30s. The happy hours prices are attractive. Their house red wine is S$38.00 per bottle. Its was a 2006 Californian red, very smooth and a hint of sweetness aftertaste. A great hang out place wif friends. Oh yes, it can be consider as a family pub whereby there's no age limit, even baby is allow. There was ONE baby there. Baby in a pub?? New age parents?? yah rite! Anyway, its a good place for chilling out and will definitely come again ^-^
